March is Women’s History Month. This month highlights the contributions of women to events in history and contemporary society. Each year on March 8, we also celebrate International Women’s Day – A global celebration of the economic, political and social achievements of women. Click here for some historical information on Women’s History Month and International Women’s Day. March is also National Credit Education Month. So this month is also about learning everything about credit, what it can do for you, how to use it, and most importantly how to look after your finances with it!
To commemorate both events, I am sharing in this article 10 Personal Finance Books I think every woman should read. I’ve read some of the books on this list and have the rest of them either sitting on my bookshelf waiting to be read or on my list of books to purchase.
In my opinion, reading on a subject is one of the best ways to educate yourself on it. If you want to learn about history, read history books; if you want to learn about Finance, read Finance books.
There are many great books out there on the subject, and I will probably never get to read them all; however, the ones listed below are some of my favorites. They are also bestsellers, which goes to show that they are great books indeed.
My recommendations are not based on any expertise; they are solely based on my personal experience reading these books and other readers’ reviews.
So here we go!

If you haven’t read any of the books listed I highly encourage you to do so. You will gain a tremendous amount of knowledge from them. And for most of them, you’ll even wonder what took you so long to decide to read them. Yes, they are that good! Check them out and let me know what you think!
Remember, Great Minds Read! 🙂
